About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work with the Risk Analysis team to support Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for nuclear power plant systems. You will report to the Risk Analysis Senior Manager.
What you'll do#
- Support Probabilistic Risk Assessments for nuclear power plant systems.
- Evaluate plant vulnerabilities, including seismic, fire, and flooding hazards.
- Review plant operating procedures, system and layout documents, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and cable routes.
- Manage databases, perform data analysis, and execute code validation testing.
- Contribute to technical project scope and help meet schedule and financial goals.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or nuclear engineering.
- Completed your sophomore year of college.
- Skills in database management, data analytics, and software programming.
