About the role#
As a Drafting Intern, you will support our engineering and production teams. You will work within our ERP system to manage project documentation, revise drawings, and assist with production planning. This role offers hands-on experience with construction and manufacturing processes, including material coordination and project execution.
What you'll do#
- Enter data into the Concrete Vision ERP system.
- Revise drawings as needed.
- Create individual pour sheets for production.
- Assist with ordering materials such as steel and insulation.
- Complete special projects and other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a 2-4 year drafting degree program.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read blueprints and plans.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- General math skills and an understanding of construction practices.
- Ability to solve problems quickly and meet project deadlines.
