About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in building systems design. You will work alongside engineers to gain exposure to the full lifecycle of MEP projects, from initial concept through construction. You will learn how an MEP consulting firm operates while gaining practical experience with electrical systems like power distribution, lighting, fire alarms, and signal systems.
What you'll do#
- Assist project teams with electrical design preparation and execution.
- Support design and administration teams with documentation and coordination tasks.
- Attend site visits with engineers to observe field conditions and system installations.
- Contribute to administrative and operational tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- You have 0 to 2 years of internship or relevant experience.
- You can grasp technical concepts and apply them to design work.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
- Coursework in areas such as power systems, electric machines, energy conversion, circuits, and engineering graphics is helpful.
