About the role#
Waterfront International Ltd is hiring a Student Developer for a full-time, paid internship in Toronto. This is an on-site, year-round position with rolling start dates.
What you'll do#
You will build new software and improve our current systems. Your work involves creating tools to process, store, and analyze trade, quote, and financial data. You will collaborate with traders, quantitative researchers, and implementation programmers to deliver technical solutions.
What you'll need#
You should be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or Mathematics and maintain an excellent academic record. We look for strong problem-solving skills. Experience with C++ or Java in a Linux environment is preferred. Knowledge of shell scripting (Bash, Perl, or CSH) and relational databases like Sybase, SQL Server, or Oracle is a plus.
