About the role#
This is a 10-week summer program for MBA candidates. You will gain hands-on exposure to core investment processes at an alternative asset manager. The program includes a firm-wide orientation and training in debt cash-flow modeling, bond mathematics, and structured credit. You will work directly with senior investment professionals and portfolio managers.
What you'll do#
- Complete two four-week rotations across different investment strategies, such as private credit, commercial real estate loans, and various trading desks.
- Assist senior teams with the full investment process, including due diligence, transaction modeling, underwriting, and creating investment memos.
- Participate in trade and deal execution.
- Present a final investment opportunity to the firm Investment Committee, including partners and managing partners, based on a live, real-time opportunity.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an MBA program with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- A minimum 3.75 GPA or equivalent academic performance.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Knowledge of finance and capital markets with a demonstrated interest in the field.
- Ability to work in a changing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, time management, and the ability to drive projects to completion.
- Experience with coding languages is a plus, but not required.
