About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in Danville, Illinois. We offer a rolling term for students or recent graduates interested in hardware development and R&D.
What you'll do#
- Take part in hardware development activities.
- Assist mechanical engineers with various projects and prototyping tasks.
- Test and evaluate both new and existing products.
- Work closely with members of the R&D team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an engineering or technology program, specifically Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Recent graduates are eligible to apply.
- Experience with CAD software, with a preference for Autodesk Inventor.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- You must be at least 18 years old by the start of the semester.
- You must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester.
Location & details#
- Location: Danville, Illinois.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week during the summer session.
