About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in electrical engineering. You will assist our engineering team with hardware design, prototyping, and testing. You will also participate in board level repair and research parts and vendors to support manufacturing protocols.
What you'll do#
- Learn to operate and use various test equipment.
- Conduct testing on LED modules and controllers.
- Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other tools to test hardware.
- Perform system level testing on complete LED sign systems.
- Research new or alternate components for our products.
- Develop embedded software.
- Assist in building prototypes.
What you'll need#
- You are a student enrolled in an Engineering or Technology degree program, specifically Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- You must have been enrolled full-time for the current semester.
- You possess strong written and communication skills.
- You can work independently on assigned tasks.
- You are at least 18 years old by the start of the semester.

- This role is located in Danville, Illinois.
- The position is on-site.
- This is a full-time internship for the Summer 2027 term.
- You must be able to work up to 40 hours per week.
- This is a paid position.
