Fall 2026 Internship - NIL Marketing, Baseball

About the role#

This internship is based in the Baseball division and focuses on supporting NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) marketing efforts. The role involves active prospecting, brand research, and administrative support to help secure partnership opportunities for baseball athletes. This is a hybrid position requiring 20 hours of work per week from September 9, 2026, through December 11, 2026.

What you'll do#

• Support the Manager of NIL Marketing, Baseball, with daily tasks and administrative duties.
• Conduct cold calls and execute marketing outreach strategies.
• Create Excel spreadsheets and external materials to support outreach efforts.
• Research potential marketing opportunities and brand partners for NIL athletes.
• Organize client data to improve service and marketing efficiency.
• Support MLB client gifting initiatives by identifying potential brand partners.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree program, preferably in a sports or marketing-related field.
• Ability to receive college credit for the internship; proof of eligibility is required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• A professional attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
• An interest in sports business, sales, and marketing.
• A solid understanding of social media and its role in athlete marketing.
• Experience in sales, marketing, or business development is strongly preferred.
