About the role#
This internship provides experience in client services and marketing within the sports and entertainment industry. You will support agents and the marketing team with daily operations, sales, and account management. This is an unpaid internship that requires you to earn college credit.
What you'll do#
- Manage daily schedules for clients and agents, including travel, appointments, and marketing commitments.
- Prepare professional documents such as invoices, reports, memos, and letters.
- Maintain department databases and track brand campaigns or client requests.
- Monitor social media for client highlights and assist in executing marketing deliverables.
- Handle logistics for major events such as the draft, Super Bowl, and Pro Bowl.
- Research and solicit new business by creating target lists and making outbound sales calls.
- Assist senior agents in managing endorsement partner relationships and ensuring contract fulfillment.
- Support client charitable endeavors and coordinate events.
- Secure barter deals for items like cars and furniture.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, preferably in marketing, communications, or sports management.
- Ability to earn college credit for this internship.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and a strong understanding of social media.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of people.
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required.
- A genuine interest in sports and business.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 26, 2027, to April 30, 2027).
- Time commitment: 20 hours per week.
