About the role#
As a Pre Grad Intern at Sam's Club, you will support the pharmacy team in providing essential products and services to our members. This position offers hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting, focusing on both operational tasks and direct member service.
What you'll do#
- Assist with processing prescriptions and over-the-counter orders.
- Enter prescription information and help fill orders.
- Provide member service by identifying needs, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Operate cash registers and handle payment processing.
- Stock and secure pharmacy supplies, merchandise, and inventory.
- Maintain the pharmacy area by rotating stock, removing out-of-date goods, and organizing displays.
- Complete and secure all required paperwork and documentation according to company and legal guidelines.
- Handle claims, returns, and zoning to keep the pharmacy area clean and safe.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.

- This position is located in Latham, New York.
- This is a part-time, paid internship.
- Work is performed on-site.
- The internship follows a rolling schedule.
