About the role#
This is a paid, part-time Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern position. You will work on-site in Spencer, Indiana, gaining hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting while supporting patient health and wellness.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all documentation and records.
- Receive and stock pharmacy supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Manage inventory and keep the pharmacy area organized.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- A focus on catering to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and pharmacy events.
