About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by working with our pharmacy team in a community setting. You will help support our goals while learning to improve customer health and wellness. This is a part-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers.
- Ensure the confidentiality of records and documentation according to company policies and legal guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and your pharmacy team.
- Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and events.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
