About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern to join our team in Santa Fe. This is a paid, part-time position for students currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school. You will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting while supporting our team in delivering health and wellness services.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing individual needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and pharmacy staff.
- Skill in catering to individual patient needs.
- Interest in participating in community outreach and events.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
