About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship for students currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy school. You will work on-site at our Edinburg location to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. The role focuses on supporting patient health and wellness while assisting our pharmacy team with daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders for customers.
- Deliver patient care by assessing individual needs and helping patients navigate clinical therapies.
- Maintain the pharmacy area and manage inventory levels.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Protect patient information and handle documentation according to HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and clinical best practices.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and pharmacy staff.
