About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will support our team in providing customer health and wellness services while learning to advocate for patient wellbeing. This role is paid and offers a chance to contribute to the daily operations of our pharmacy.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing individual needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and keep the pharmacy area organized.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Ensure all documentation and records remain confidential in line with company policies and legal guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- A commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and pharmacy team members.
- Skill in catering to individual patient needs and implementing best practices in pharmaceutical care.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and participating in local events.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
