About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will support our team in delivering patient care and improving customer health and wellness. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing patient needs and helping them navigate clinical therapies.
- Maintain the pharmacy area and manage inventory.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers.
- Ensure all documentation and records remain confidential according to company policies and legal guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Skill in catering to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and events.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
