About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. This is a part-time, paid position that supports our pharmacy operations while you continue your education. You will work directly with customers and pharmacy staff to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly and safely.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Enter prescription information and manage necessary paperwork, forms, and records.
- Assist customers with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, and resolve concerns.
- Maintain the pharmacy area by stocking supplies, rotating merchandise, and organizing displays.
- Operate cash registers and related tools to handle transactions, claims, and returns.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all patient information and records.
- Identify shrink and damages to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Keep the pharmacy area clean, safe, and organized.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
Location & details#
- This role is on-site in Amarillo, Texas, or Albuquerque, New Mexico.
- This is a part-time position with a rolling term.
