About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will support the team in delivering patient care and ensuring the safe delivery of pharmacy services. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from suppliers and distribution centers.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all information, documentation, and records in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and your pharmacy team.
- Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for participating in community outreach and events.
