About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will work as part of a team focused on customer service and the safe delivery of pharmacy products. This is a paid, part-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Help process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all documentation and records according to company, state, and federal guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and your pharmacy team.
- Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for participating in community outreach and events.
