About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship for students currently enrolled in an accredited Pharmacy school. You will work on-site in a community pharmacy setting to gain hands-on experience in patient care and pharmacy operations.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders.
- Support patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and stock supplies from distribution centers.
- Maintain pharmacy records and documentation while following company policies and legal guidelines.
- Protect patient data and follow HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Skills in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Capacity to address individual patient needs.
- Interest in community outreach and pharmacy events.
- A Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
