About the role#
As a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will support our team in providing customer health and wellness services while advocating for patient wellbeing. This role is paid and offers the opportunity to contribute to our pharmacy goals.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping patients navigate clinical therapies.
- Maintain the pharmacy area and manage inventory.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Ensure all documentation and records remain confidential in line with company policies and legal guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and events.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
