About the role#
We are looking for a Pharmacy Pre-Grad Intern to join our team in Winston Salem. This is a part-time, paid position designed for students currently pursuing a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting while supporting our goal of improving patient health and wellness.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing individual needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- A commitment to catering to individual patient needs.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and pharmacy events.
