About the role#
As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will support our team by providing clinical care and maintaining compliance with all legal and company policies. This is a full-time, paid position designed for students in their final year of pharmacy school.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all patient information, documentation, and records according to HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Enthusiasm for participating in community outreach and events.
- A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
