About the role#
As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. You will support our team in providing clinical care while learning to advocate for patient health and well-being. This role focuses on maintaining safety and following legal and company policies.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Ensure confidentiality of all documentation and records in line with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Receive and stock pharmacy merchandise and supplies.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the final year of an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementation of best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and pharmacy team members.
- Skill in catering to individual patient needs.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach and pharmacy events.
