About the role#
As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. This role focuses on supporting pharmacy operations while advocating for patient well-being and health. You will work in an environment dedicated to clinical care and safety.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Receive and stock supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Ensure all documentation and records remain confidential in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the final year of an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for participating in community outreach and events.
- A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
- Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
