About the role#
As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. This role focuses on supporting our pharmacy operations while advocating for patient health and well-being. You will work within an energetic team to provide clinical care and ensure compliance with all legal and company policies.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Manage inventory and maintain the pharmacy area.
- Receive and stock merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers.
- Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation, and assigned records in accordance with HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and implementing best practices.
- Ability to foster relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Capability to cater to individual patient needs.
- Enthusiasm for participating in community activities, outreach, and events.
- A Bachelor's degree in Science is preferred.
- A Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.

- This position is located in Abilene, Texas.
- This is a part-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
