About the role#
As a Pharmacy Grad Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a community pharmacy setting. This role focuses on supporting clinical care, maintaining safety standards, and contributing to overall pharmacy operations. You will work directly with our team to advocate for patient health and well-being.
What you'll do#
- Process prescription and over-the-counter orders and purchases.
- Deliver patient care by assessing individual needs and helping navigate clinical therapies.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all patient information, documentation, and records according to legal and company guidelines.
- Receive and stock pharmacy supplies from suppliers and distribution centers.
- Manage inventory and keep the pharmacy area organized.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the final year at an accredited Pharmacy school.
- Proficiency in pharmaceutical care and the implementation of best practices.
- Ability to build relationships with customers and the pharmacy team.
- Strong commitment to following HIPAA and PHI guidelines.
- Enthusiasm for community outreach, events, and activities.
- A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred.
- A Pharmacy-Based Immunization Delivery Certification is preferred.
