About the role#
This internship is part of the Voya Investment Management Summer Student Program. You will gain firsthand experience in the investment management industry while working alongside professionals across the organization. This role supports portfolio analytics and helps deliver analytical and operational solutions to Portfolio Management, Asset Managers, and internal stakeholders.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with front-office teams to develop analytical solutions using BlackRock Solutions’ Aladdin, Power BI, and WebFOCUS.
- Perform daily and monthly quality control activities to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with setting up portfolios and benchmarks within BlackRock Aladdin.
- Maintain project tracking logs and monitor workstream deliverables and deadlines.
- Coordinate with contributors to move action items forward.
- Complete projects supporting the Investment Data & Analytics team.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, accounting, or a related field.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Results-oriented self-starter with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant coursework in finance and an interest in the investment industry.
- Experience with SQL or VBA is a plus.
- Interest in learning investment management and analytical platforms, including BlackRock Aladdin, Power BI, and WebFOCUS.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with an expected onsite presence of up to 3 days per week.
