About the role#
As a Summer Intern on the Voya Investment Management Intermediary Distribution Sales Desk, you will gain hands-on experience in the investment management industry. You will work alongside a team of emerging sales leaders to help the organization operate more efficiently. This role provides exposure to various investment solutions including mutual funds, separately managed accounts, and private equity.
What you'll do#
- Support initiatives that help the Sales Desk focus on high-value sales opportunities.
- Analyze and organize data to inform where the team invests its selling efforts.
- Collaborate with Sales Desk team members and other professionals across the organization.
- Use Excel, Copilot, and other tools to organize information and reduce manual effort.
- Work toward obtaining the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) credential.
- Participate in career development, mentorship, and learning opportunities.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and adapt to changing business priorities.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in business, sales, or a related field.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn new computer systems and work effectively in a team.
- A flexible, proactive mindset.
- Interest in financial services, investment management, or sales.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled tools is a plus.

- Modality: Hybrid, with expected onsite presence up to 3 days per week.
