About the role#
This is a paid student position for individuals currently studying Optique et lunetterie. You will gain hands-on experience in a specialized clinical environment focused on laser vision correction. The role lasts for three consecutive weeks, from January 4 to January 22, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with and perform tests during preoperative and postoperative examinations.
- Complete patient records with accuracy.
- Learn and perform lensometry, autorefractometry, and pupillometry.
- Conduct diagnostic tests including fundus photography, corneal topography and tomography, and OCT of the cornea and retina.
- Perform biometry and higher-order aberration analysis.
- Provide professional and attentive customer service.

- Current enrollment in a college program in Optique et lunetterie.
- Demonstrated interest in ophthalmology and laser vision correction.
- Rigor and professionalism in your work.
- Excellent patient-service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Motivation to develop new clinical skills.
- Availability for the three consecutive weeks of the employment period.
