About the role#
This is a paid student position for individuals currently studying Optique et lunetterie. You will work in a specialized clinical environment focused on laser vision correction. The role provides hands-on experience in refractive surgery and allows you to collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists. This is a temporary position for three consecutive weeks, from January 4 to January 22, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with and perform tests during preoperative and postoperative examinations.
- Complete patient files with accuracy.
- Learn and perform diagnostic tests, including lensometry, autorefractometry, pupillometry, fundus photography, corneal topography and tomography, OCT, biometry, and higher-order aberration analysis.
- Provide professional and attentive service to patients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program in Optique et lunetterie.
- An interest in ophthalmology and laser vision correction.
- Strong sense of rigor and professionalism.
- Excellent patient service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and motivation to learn new skills.
- Availability for the three consecutive weeks of the employment period.

- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: 21.24 dollars per hour.
- Schedule: Three consecutive weeks from January 4 to January 22, 2027, with the possibility of part-time work afterward depending on availability.
