About the role#
Vishay Dale Electronics is seeking a Process Engineer Intern for the summer of 2027 in Columbus, Nebraska. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work on-site at our manufacturing facility, which specializes in resistors and e-beam technology.
What you'll do#
- Assess manufacturing processes to find ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in developing new or modified process formulations.
- Define requirements and specifications for processing or handling equipment.
- Review techniques used in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of our product lines.
- Provide production support engineering after products transfer from design to high-volume production.
- Complete and present an end-of-year project.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering program.
- A focus on troubleshooting, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
- You must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 to comply with export regulations.
