About the role#
Vishay Dale Electronics is seeking an R&D Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Columbus, Nebraska. You will work alongside staff to improve site operations and support the research of new products and materials.
What you'll do#
- Assess manufacturing processes to find ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Research and determine the design of new products, processes, and materials.
- Analyze equipment to establish operating data.
- Conduct experimental tests and evaluate results to determine optimum materials.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve technical problems.
- Research, analyze, and compile data for reports.
- Create and deliver presentations, including a final end-of-year project presentation.
What you'll need#
- Completion of 1-3 years of college.
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering degree program.
- Status as a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15.
