About the role#
This is a full-time Software Engineering Co-op position based in Germantown, Maryland. You will work on-site with a professional team to gain real-world development experience. This role supports the creation of software used to validate networks globally.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, test, and debug software that validates critical networks.
- Work on code that spans from hardware-interfacing to on-board graphical user interfaces.
- Participate in design and architecture reviews to meet customer needs and product requirements.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study toward a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Experience designing, developing, and testing C/C++ or equivalent object-oriented software.
- Knowledge of software engineering design concepts.
- Experience in a Linux development environment is preferred.
