About the role#
Paradise Animal Hospital and Wellness Centre is looking for a DVM student to join our small animal practice in Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador. This role is for students who require a practicum placement as part of their university program. You will work directly with our veterinarians and technicians to build your clinical skills.
What you'll do#
- Shadow veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures.
- Observe medical decision-making processes.
- Assist in the management of complex cases.
- Respond to clinical emergencies.
- Develop professional skills under the guidance of our DVMs and technicians.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university DVM program.
- A requirement to complete a practicum placement.
