About the role#
As a Student Worker in the Client Services department for Diagnostic Labs, you will assist the team with clerical functions and special projects. This role reports to the department leader and supports daily operations through administrative tasks and issue resolution.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, and handling customer requests.
- Prepare presentations for company leaders.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiency and collaborate with team members.
- Assist with the analysis and resolution of department issues, offering recommendations as needed.
- Support staff with various projects and reports upon request.
- Follow all standard operating procedures and regulatory compliance requirements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, majoring in Communications, Business, or a health-related discipline.
- High School Diploma.
- 1-3 years of experience with Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Less than 1 year of experience with integrated HRIS or payroll systems.
- Ability to handle confidential information and work independently.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
- Experience with Ceridian or working in a health care setting is preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
