About the role#
We are looking for a Co-Op Student to join our Operating Model team. This is a full-time, paid position based in either Toronto or Sudbury, Ontario. You will work on a hybrid schedule for an 8 to 12 month term starting in January 2027.
In this role, you will interact with cross-functional teams across our mining operations, processing plants, and corporate departments. You will support the implementation and adoption of our Operating Model by analyzing business processes and helping to improve performance.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with stakeholders to map and optimize end-to-end business processes.
- Support business process design, document governance, and integrated assessment activities.
- Ensure documentation meets compliance standards and is properly version-controlled.
- Collect, analyze, and report data regarding process simplification, policy quality, and assurance work.
- Assist with project management tasks, including tracking timelines, monitoring action items, and providing follow-up.
- Help define governance and set up technology solutions to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's, Master's, or combined degree program in engineering, business, economics, science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with Power BI and SharePoint.
- Interest or experience in data analytics, data visualization, continuous improvement methods, and project management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
