Photography Intern

About the role#

The Utah Jazz are seeking a Photography Intern to support the content team. This role involves capturing images for marketing and sponsorship requirements, assisting the team photographer with game-day operations, and managing digital assets. You will gain hands-on experience in sports content creation while working directly with the marketing department.

What you'll do#

• Assist the team photographer in capturing game action, community events, and sponsorship activations.
• Edit in-game photos and organize them into player-specific assets for post-game use.
• Tag, sort, and manage photo library assets.
• Support team store product shoots and general production needs, including lighting and ideation.
• Fulfill photo editing requests and execute projects in a timely manner.
• Maintain availability for game nights, including nights and weekends.

What you'll need#

• Undergraduate Junior or Senior status or a recent graduate with a focus on Advertising, English, Journalism, Photography, or a related field.
• A minimum GPA of 3.0 if currently enrolled in school.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Experience with media asset management.
• A provided link to a portfolio of previous work is required for consideration.
• Knowledge of basketball and the NBA is preferred.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and climbing stairs for extended periods.
