About the role#
We are hiring a Federal Work Study student to assist in the Auerbach Lab. This part-time position supports the Pharmacology department with daily maintenance and basic lab tasks.
What you'll do#
- Wash dishes and autoclave glassware or other lab supplies.
- Fill tip boxes and maintain the laboratory chemical inventory.
- Keep the lab organized.
- Prepare stock buffers and pour agar plates.
- Perform other basic laboratory techniques as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current student enrolled at Upstate Medical University.
- You must be approved for financial aid and have accepted Federal Work Study through the Financial Aid Office.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Syracuse, New York.
- The pay rate is $17 per hour.
- This is a part-time role with a rolling term.
