The Verve Label Group Marketing internship is a shared role supporting both the Jazz (Verve, Verve Forecast, Impulse!) and Classics (Decca Records US, Deutsche Grammophon) marketing teams. This position covers both frontline and catalog releases, providing exposure to the operational side of label marketing.
What you'll do#
- Attend team meetings and distribute notes.
- Manage internal folder organization and update marketing documents.
- Create, copywrite, and edit assets and decks.
- Execute radio blasts and manage physical mailers.
- Compile release recaps and attend artist events or concerts.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college or university in the United States.
- Expected graduation date between Fall 2026 and Fall 2028.
- Ability to commit to 30 hours per week.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
- Working knowledge of Photoshop or other image editing platforms.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube) and digital communities (Discord, Reddit).
- Ability to ideate, script, and edit short-form content optimized for social media.
- Demonstrated interest in jazz, classical, and catalog music is preferred.
- Majors in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or Business Administration are preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: New York, New York (On-site).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 2026 – November 2026).
- Compensation: Paid ($17.00 – $20.00 per hour).
- Requirements: Candidates must have their own housing and transportation.
