About the role#
The Video Intern supports the marketing and communications team by capturing and producing video content. This is a paid, part-time co-op position within an organized university-sponsored program. You will work in a mentoring environment while gaining experience in video production, project management, and brand storytelling.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the capture and production of video for internal and external communications across digital and social channels.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop visual storytelling ideas.
- Gather B-roll and generic footage across UC Health campuses for use in future campaigns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Monitor production progress and track key milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Partner with the lead videographer to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Review existing footage to identify assets that can be repurposed.
- Organize and store footage so it remains accessible to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university-sponsored degree program, such as Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Business Administration.
- Completion of at least 1.5 years of college training.
- Practical experience with video production and editing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A strong understanding of brand identity and visual execution.
