About the role#
This 10-week paid internship offers hands-on experience within our Commercial Real Estate team. You will learn to analyze financial statements, assess credit requests, and deliver recommendations based on credit risk. The program includes on-the-job training, mentorship, and opportunities to build a peer network. Successful interns may be considered for our full-time Credit Analyst Development Program upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Underwrite, structure, and present a new loan opportunity for a Capstone project.
- Assist with quarterly trending reports and annual reviews for existing clients.
- Support senior credit analysts with financial spreading, risk rating, and calculating financial metrics.
- Measure, monitor, and test financial covenants as specified in credit documents.
- Interpret credit approval requirements to update compliance monitoring systems.
- Analyze financial statement results and prepare reports for Portfolio and Relationship Managers.
- Interact with clients and attend meetings with companies in the portfolio.
- Explore AI-enabled tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to assist with research and reporting.
- Develop technical and business skills through training and senior executive exposure.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Target graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Basic understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with or exposure to AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with acute attention to detail.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage time constraints.
- Capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team.

- Location: Denver, Colorado.
- Start Date: June 7, 2027.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with a requirement to be in the office 3+ days per week.
- Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
