About the role#
TTM Technologies is seeking an intern to join our RF/microwave engineering team. You will support the design and development of products for military and space applications. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience in RF design, manufacturing, and testing under direct supervision.
What you'll do#
- Design and simulate RF/microwave components and circuits.
- Work with test engineering and technicians to develop test procedures and stations.
- Create data reduction software and analyze results.
- Prepare presentations for gated design reviews and perform reviews before design release.
- Design and evaluate test circuits while considering manufacturing limitations.
- Correlate simulation results with actual test performance.
- Support the Material Review Board process and provide production support.
- Ensure project schedules are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical or Computer Engineering program.
- Strong course load in physics and mathematics.
- Basic understanding of microwave theory and a strong interest in the field.
- Experience with AutoCAD, HFSS, and circuit simulation tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MATLAB.
- Ability to design experiments, analyze data, and solve problems.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Electromagnetics coursework and 3D modeling experience are preferred.
