About the role#
This internship provides Chemical and Mechanical Engineering students with professional experience in manufacturing technology. You will work on-site for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027. The program focuses on process engineering, automation, and industrial applications. You will be paired with a manager and a mentor to guide your work and help you build your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Complete one major project and two minor projects.
- Utilize robots and machines to improve production, quality, and safety.
- Present opening, midway, and closing project reviews to site leadership.
- Attend courses on cross-facility collaboration and connect with Subject Matter Experts.
- Present your facility projects at the TTM summer technology expo in August.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited college or university as a junior entering your senior year.
- Major in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Good academic standing.
- US Citizenship due to ITAR regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic engineering principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
