About the role#
This is a paid, full-time summer internship based on-site in Salem, New Hampshire. You will spend 10 to 12 weeks working on one major project and up to two minor projects. You will be assigned a manager and a mentor to guide your work. This program helps you transition from your academic studies to a professional engineering career.
What you'll do#
- Design, develop, and implement project plans to meet specific objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete your assignments.
- Present your project progress to both site and executive leadership.
- Participate in site training and team building programs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited technical undergraduate program as a Junior entering your Senior year.
- Expected graduation date no later than December 2027.
- Good academic standing.
- Demonstrated technical ability and an aptitude for engineering projects.
- A basic understanding of analog and digital electronics or microwave theory.
- Interest in software development, programming languages, and test or process automation.
- Comfort with hands-on work.
- Strong interpersonal, time management, and analytical skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
- A proactive approach to expanding your job-related knowledge.
