Coop's General Store Manager

About the role#

As the General Store Manager at Coop's, you will oversee daily operations at Talking Rock Golf Club. This role involves managing staff, maintaining facility standards, and coordinating with leadership to ensure operational objectives are met.

What you'll do#

• Supervise inventories of materials and supplies and maintain par levels.
• Coordinate menu planning with the Executive Chef and manage product pricing and ordering.
• Maintain regular communication with the Director of Golf and Head Professional.
• Inspect the facility for maintenance, repair, or cleaning needs and ensure all equipment, including beverage carts, is in working order.
• Manage department staff, including interviewing, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation.
• Monitor business volume forecasts to plan for manpower, productivity, and expenses.
• Oversee group event coordination through the Golf Tournament Coordinator.
• Ensure sanitation standards are consistently met and maintain a presence on the floor during busy meal times.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-4 years of food and beverage management experience.
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service.
