About the role#
Trelleborg Group is hiring an Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. You will work within the Aerospace Engineering department to gain practical experience in application engineering.
What you'll do#
- Apply your academic knowledge to hands-on engineering projects.
- Use seal design software and laboratory resources to collect performance data for new and existing products.
- Develop tools and documentation to support Aerospace Central Engineering and improve internal processes.
- Perform administrative engineering tasks and support new product introductions or material qualifications.
- Build your knowledge of the company product portfolio, quality standards, and business systems.
- Establish working relationships with key team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or a recent degree from an Aerospace Engineering program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and a desire to learn new skills.
- Because this role involves work subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, you must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident, Asylee, or Refugee).
