This 12-week summer internship program provides insight into a career in technical sales within the HVAC and building management industry. Participants will develop technical, business, and communication skills while exploring various facets of the business, including equipment, service, and building automation. The program is designed to provide professional experience and serves as a pathway for potential future opportunities in the company's Graduate Training Program.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with industry-leading Sales Account Managers and customers.
- Learn the design, application, and sales processes for HVAC systems, controls, and services.
- Attend sales meetings, business functions, and customer site visits alongside mentors.
- Gain hands-on experience with the end-to-end responsibilities of a sales engineer.
- Act as a point-of-contact for customers to develop ownership over solution-making.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial, or Environmental) or Business Administration.
- Completion of at least the sophomore year of study prior to the start of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship or legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- A valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months with a clean driving record.
- A strong passion for continuous learning in technical fields.
