The Human Resources Intern will support the HR team through high-impact compliance and data-management initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to core HR operations, focusing on strengthening regulatory compliance, improving data accuracy, and modernizing document management processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with internal I-9 audits to ensure compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements.
- Organize and standardize employee personnel files in accordance with HR record-retention policies.
- Scan, index, and digitize paper employee records into electronic formats.
- Assist in migrating HR files from shared network drives to Microsoft Teams.
- Provide administrative and project support to the HR team as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Microsoft Teams is a plus.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to follow structured processes.
