About the role#
The Document Control team manages the governance documents that keep our organization running consistently. As an intern, you will support the maintenance of our document systems and ensure records are handled according to retention schedules. This role involves a mix of administrative support, data tracking, and coordination with various departments.
What you'll do#
- Update and maintain tracking systems for lab notebook issuance and archival.
- Scan files, logs, and quality receiving paperwork while verifying that scanned documents meet requirements.
- Support the team with document true copy reviews and retention schedule management.
- Maintain document and file room processes.
- Communicate clearly with team members to report discrepancies or errors.
- Assist other departments with administrative tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Pharmaceutical Sciences or a closely related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with FDA and cGMP regulatory practices.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to focus on detail-oriented, repetitive tasks.
- Professional communication skills for interacting with internal departments.
- Experience with flat scanners and Veeva is preferred but not required.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship.
- Work is based on-site in Fort Collins and Windsor, Colorado, with some tasks performed remotely.
- You must have access to a private, quiet workspace during business hours (8 AM to 5 PM Mountain Time) for remote work.
